Development of the model for provision of VET institutions with teaching and learning materials

The goal of the project is to create the modern teaching and learning materials for VET with the aim to promote the quality of vocational education and training and correspondence of training to the labour market needs.

Objectives of the project:

1. To develop a model for provision of VET institutions with modern teaching and learning materials.

2. To practice this model by creating, publishing and testing teaching and learning materials for the profession of motormechanicer.

3. To provide all vocational schools (which are training motormechanicers) with the developed materials.

Results of the project:

1. Methodical guidelines for the development of the model for provision of VET institutions with modern teaching and learning materials.

2. A study on the system of provision of VET institutions with modern teaching and learning materials in Finland.

3. A study on the system of provision of VET institutions with modern teaching and learning materials in Greece.

4. Methodical guidelines for the analysis on the situation of provision of VET institutions with teaching and learning materials in Lithuania.

5. A study on the situation of provision of VET institutions with teaching and learning materials in Lithuania.

6. A description of the model for provision of VET institutions with modern teaching and learning materials.

7. Methodical guidelines for the development of teaching and learning materials for training of motormechanicers.

8. A textbook for training of motormechanicers (4 parts) (3000 copies of each part, LT).

9. A teacher's book (150 copies, LT).

10. Technical drawings/illustrations for training, 150 drawings (31 copy each drawing).

11. A book of tasks for students (3000 copies, LT).

12. 80 vocational teachers trained to use the developed materials.

13. 350 students trained using the developed materials.

14. 31 vocational school provided with the developed materials.
